20080912 - Bell Shoal pictures
Bell Shoal is a 15ft deep sandbar 3 miles off the coast of Mexico Beach. There are rumors that locals have tow-in surfed this break during previous storms. These grainy pictures take with my 80x digital zoom show incredible faces. How big does a swell have to be to break like this in 15 feet of water, and look like this from 3 miles away?
